Brandon Gets ready to shoot as Jesse looks on..
Once again the team of Michelle Poage & Ryan Kofoid pushed the #1 seeded team of Brandon Cuaresma & Jesse Keaveny in to another hard-fought tiebreaker, In the end the #1 Team once again kept their undefeated season in tack and took the Win 11-7 leaving them the team to watch for an upcoming Alaska State Doubles tournament which takes place next Month. In the Men’s Open singles Brandon and Jesse found themselves pitted against each other for the title and like always this was a very interesting battle, to say the least, Game 1 went to Brandon 15-13 even after taking a hard shot to the side of the head on an errant shot by Jesse, Game 2 went to Jesse 15-7 with both players making some great dives along with great shots, In the tiebreaker both players were a little streaky and Brandon had worked up to a 9-6 lead when Jesse fought back to tie the game at 10-10 both players served 3 times for the Win before Brandon guessed wrong and headed toward the right side of the court leaving Jesse an unguarded left side backhand shot for the 11-10 win.
