Junior Racquetball is alive and well here in Alaska, And the proof was played out this past Weekend, With Alaska’s Top Junior player Jesse Keaveny with his 13 State Titles managed to FIGHT his way to the Mens OPEN Final. Where he took on one of Alaska’s Premier Players Steve Deaton, A many many time State Singles & Doubles Champion. Jesse with his youth, Foot Speed, and that Killer Drive Serve and Steve with his Court Mastery, Cool Head, and Shooting Skills made this one of the best matches of the early season, Jesse went on to Win the hard-fought battle with the scores of 14-15, 15-14, 11-8, After the Open final Jesse played his Juniors 18 & Under final where he defeated James Marchetti 15-12, 15-8.
