Jim Hage gets ready to shoot a backhand while Robert Bailey looks on..

Every Year we seem to have a tournament like this where all the top seated players fall prey to a new up and comer or maybe even someone you may have come to say is too old to Win these days, While think again!.. Jim Hage of Fairbanks proved that "Age & Wisdom" can still result in a 1st place trophy, coming into the tournament seeded #10 Jim fought through 4 rounds which included matches with the #2 and #6 seeded players before finding himself in the Finals against #4 seeded Robert Bailey, As usual Robert was all over the court with some FANTASTIC Dives while Jim played his "Smooth and Consistant" style the mix up of styles made this an interesting match to watch unfold. Robert came out firing in game 1 while Jim seemed to be getting his game dialed in toward the end of the game (Game 1 Robert 15-9), In Game 2 Jim came to life and seemed to make everything he shot Robert was still diving around a lot and was begining to show a little wear and tear (Game 2 Jim), Both players were up for the tie-breaker where they stayed close throughout the game until the end where Jim took the win 11-8.
