In the event that your Division (Skill or Age Group) is combined with another Division (Skill or Age Group) your points will be awarded in the Division that you originally signed up for. Points are kept for 12 Months, Points from the previous Year drop off at the end of each Month. Once you reach a 150 points you must move up to the next higher skill division, You may however compete in the division from which you were bumped up from at the State Singles of the same year, So long as you have not been awarded any points in the new division. Individuals who forfeit a scheduled match for any reason will not receive any points. Players may appeal to the to the AARA State Board to have points awarded if they feel the reason for the forfeit was justified. Individuals may also appeal to play in a lower division if circumstances warrant (Not played in a long time, Injury, Ect). If for any reason you forfeit out of a tournament and finished high enough to where you are due points you must appeal to the board and explain the reason for the forfeit before points will be awarded.
